Page and I haven’t lost our minds. We bought a house that was in foreclosure to renovate and make into our home. We’ve decided it would be fun, and maybe even helpful to others, if we journaled our journey and looked for some biblical lessons as we complete the project.
We’ve decided to base our journey on Psalm 127:1, “Unless the Lord builds the house they labor in vain who build it.” We’ve had fun already brainstorming and dreaming about what might be, and Lord willing, will be.
So please feel free to join us on the journey. In this post is the first video. We went live on Facebook when we kicked it off and were amazed at how many people joined us live.
If you haven’t seen the video yet, or if you just couldn’t believe your eyes the first time, I’ve included it in this post. Feel free to share it with anyone you believe may be encouraged by it.
When the house is completed our plan is to publish an ebook of devotions with the various lessons along with a link to the ‘before’ and ‘after’ photos and videos.
This may be hard to believe, but this first video of the outside of the house really doesn’t do it justice. It’s actually worse on the inside than on the outside!
